QuickScore is a completely free program for scoring IPSC matches. Let me make one thing absolutely clear -- QuickScore is not a replacement for WinMss. It is intended to make scoring easier for small matches where a very different set of conditions exist than at a major match, for which I use and recommend WinMss. At this time it supports Pistol matches for countries that use IPSC scoring only.

Those conditions are:

• The scoring all being done on one computer, by a competitor, on the range.
• A "fluid" match, with competitors arriving and leaving, and stages being added, or removed at a moments notice.
• The scoring is done on a laptop, usually on someones lap, and on the range. There is rarely a flat surface for a mouse.
• Poor lighting conditions needing big black fonts on light backgrounds.
• Primitive scoresheets in use, generally with more than one stage (and maybe all stages) on a page.
• A need to see who has and who hasn't handed in their scoresheet instantly.
• Flagging of scoresheet errors and suspicious results.
• A need for results right now, both overall and by stage.
• No printer present.

The program works in a very similar way to a spreadsheet, and looks like this.

Put them all in any folder and create a shortcut to (or run) QuickScore.exe

This is version 1.0.0, and while well past beta, it has only been used to rescore matches already scored with WinMSS. The results match..
